On 18th June 2005, three years after we first met in Vogue and eight months after we bought our first home together, we became engaged. We enjoyed a beautiful candlelit 3-course dinner, which David had cooked, before he got down on bended knee and proposed.

We celebrated our engagement with a party at Fylde Rugby Club on October 22nd.
